Common questions
Do I have to use every feature from day one?
No. Start with the calendar and bookings, then turn on payments, housekeeping or OTA sync when you need them. Each staff member’s permissions can be set separately.
I keep bookings in Excel. How do I move them?
The Bookings page imports Excel, CSV (Google Sheets) or a .ics calendar. Columns are recognised by their headings; you preview every row and can undo the whole batch.
I am not technical. Can I set it up myself?
Yes. A site takes about two minutes, with a step-by-step guide in the console and how-to videos. Message us on Zalo if you need help.
Is there a fee per booking?
No. HostBooking charges a monthly or yearly plan, never a percentage of bookings. The Free plan can be used for good, with no booking limit.
Where does the guests’ money go?
Straight to your bank account or payment gateway. HostBooking never holds guests’ money.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on every plan, Free included. You start with a ready-made address like name.staycation.com.vn and connect your own domain later, with a guide.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Bookings, guests and the calendar export to Excel/CSV, within your permissions.
What if I stop?
You can stop at any time. Prepaid plans are refunded under the refund policy, and you can ask for your data to be deleted.
