Affiliates bring guests; commission works itself out
People who refer guests get a portal of their own: ask to join, get a link and QR code, follow their commission. You choose who sells, set the rate and pay from the admin.

Affiliates
A portal for affiliates
Affiliates sign up on HostBooking’s affiliate portal, find brands taking affiliates, read the terms and tap Ask to join. Two-step sign-in is available.
Referral link and QR code
Each approved brand gets its own link and QR code. A guest who opens it is remembered for 30 days, and a booking any time in that window counts.
You approve and set the rate
Turn on Take affiliates, set a default commission (0–50%) and your terms. Approve, reject, stop, or give one person their own rate.
Commission once paid and checked out
Commission is on what the guest paid minus refunds. Approve each one, then tap Pay commission with the transfer reference; the oldest are paid first.
Fraud checks
An affiliate booking for themselves (same phone or email) earns nothing. A guest’s phone belongs to the first referrer for 90 days. One bank account belongs to one affiliate.
In the books, with a ranking
Each payout is an Affiliate commission expense. The ranking shows who brings in the most revenue.
How it works
Up and running in a few steps
- 1
Open Affiliates, turn on Take affiliates, set the default rate and write your terms.
- 2
Send the affiliate portal to people who want to refer guests; they sign up and ask to join.
- 3
Approve the right people. They get a referral link and QR code to share.
- 4
When a guest checks out and has paid in full, approve the commission and tap Pay commission.
Changing the terms makes a new version that affiliates must accept again. Changing their payout account takes their password again and sends them an email. An affiliate can work with at most 20 brands.

Questions
Common questions
Can affiliates see my guests’ data?
No. They see only their link and their commission: amount, rate and status.
What if the guest cancels or gets a refund?
Commission arises only once the booking has checked out and is paid in full, on the amount kept after refunds. You can Void one that has not been paid.
Can a manager of one property approve affiliates?
No. This page is for whole-brand managers. Paying also needs permission to manage payments.
Is there a fee per affiliate?
No. It is on every plan, Free included.
